Where the Locals Eat
The best way to visit Osceola like a true Osceolean is to take a few tips from the people who know the area best! For a small town, Osceola has quite a variety of restaurant choices — from fresh from the oven breakfast pastries to juicy hamburgers —farm to table or made from scratch comfort foods. Start your day with a local favorite- breakfast at the Watershed Cafe- they focus on local food and the back deck puts you right above the rushing sounds of Geiger Falls. Before you head out to the river, grab a quick made to order sub from the Cascade Deli at the BP, or pop into the Deli @ Dick’s Fresh Market. While you stroll around town later in the afternoon, enjoy an old fashioned ice cream at The Looking Glass or a pastry at Uptown-Osceola or an afternoon cocktail at the historic Cascade Bar and Grill. In the evening, head to PYs back patio where you can enjoy their famous burgers and fries while you view the illuminated Cascade Falls. Warm up around a fire while you catch a game at The Lanes back patio. Tippy Canoes's is known for tasty entrees and a tasty ahi tuna plate with great weekend music. PIzza at the Pizza Cellar is a popular choice too. A Haven for Picnic Spots
With five gorgeous spots to choose from for picnics- Osceola Landing, Wilke Glen by the Cascade Falls and our three lovely in town Parks- Mill Pond Park, Geiger Park and Oakey Park, you will find yourself surrounded by the beauty of nature, waterfalls, gurgling streams and limestone bluffs while you enjoy a treat from our many take out restaurants or Dick's Market Deli.
